Castle School 9.9.16

Visiting the castle today to find different features of a castle.  How many of each can we find?  Can we record our results using a tally chart and then compare the results?

Rugby Club winner

Congratulations to Wesley who won the Rugby World Cup ‘sweepstake’ ball. He was fortunate to pull out New Zealand from ‘the pot’ at the start of the World Cup Tournament.  That country went on to win the Rugby World Cup and Wesley won the ball. Wesley can now use the ball to practise his spin passes, drop kicks and running with the ball ready

Rugby fun festival

The rugby World Cup may be over for Wales but the matches are still being won by the Ysgol Y Castell team! The school team recently attended the Rhyl and District school’s rugby fun festival at Ysgol Christchurch in Rhyl.  The team played against 4 local schools and were able to out score the opposition and win their matches. Now the year has started…..

Well, we’ve had quite a busy start to the year in Class 2! Important Things To Remember in Class 2

Reading books and HFW books need to come to school everyday please. Waterproof coats, trousers and wellington boots are still needed in Class 2 and can be kept in school on your peg for the year ahead. Gloves, hats, scarves, extra leggings, fleeces, etc will also be needed when the colder Winter months arrive! P.E. is on a Tuesday afternoon and you will need
