Gardening Club End of Year Picnic

Gardening club The gardening club members are having an end of year picnic at the school garden on Wednesday 13 July.  The club time will be extended to 5 o’clock  to ensure we have time to prepare and eat OUR produce. Thank you for all your support this year. Susie and Emma


The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is the gardening club’s entry into the church Christmas tree competition. Visit the church this weekend to see all of the school entries. Vote for your favourite.


Rugby Club winner

Congratulations to Wesley who won the Rugby World Cup ‘sweepstake’ ball. He was fortunate to pull out New Zealand from ‘the pot’ at the start of the World Cup Tournament.  That country went on to win the Rugby World Cup and Wesley won the ball. Wesley can now use the ball to practise his spin passes, drop kicks and running with the ball ready

Rugby fun festival

The rugby World Cup may be over for Wales but the matches are still being won by the Ysgol Y Castell team! The school team recently attended the Rhyl and District school’s rugby fun festival at Ysgol Christchurch in Rhyl.  The team played against 4 local schools and were able to out score the opposition and win their matches. The boys showed excellent team

It is the last gardening club this term this Friday.  We are having a picnic and pick up will be later at 5.00.  Let’s hope the sun shines.

Footballer Tournament 24.4.15

A HUGE CONGRAULATIONS to our Footballers who took part in the football tournament at Penmorfa school last Friday. They were an absolute credit to the school and showed tremendous sportsmanship.
