Own Clothes Day

All pupils are invited to wear their own clothes on Friday 28th November. There will not be a ‘fine’ but we are asking that they bring in a Tombola Prize for the Christmas Fair instead so a bottle /jar   chocolate  or  a cuddly toy. Many thanks

Head Lice

Please could you all check your child’s hair on a daily basis as it has come to our attention that there has been reports of ‘Head Lice’ in school since the start of term. It is really important to check hair and treat if any lice are found, as we can only keep on top of this problem if we work together.


Weaving Project -Wool Wanted

We are starting a weaving project and need wool.  Please send in any leftover balls of wool, scraps etc that you can find. We are hoping to make this a community weave and intend to start on Monday afternoon when we are open for our 80th anniversary open afternoon. Please send donations to Mrs Ward-Evans class 3. Foundation Phase ‘Sports Day’

                             ‘Sports Day’ was a real success this year. The sun shone and so did the children, who all ran and jumped and skipped with vigor. The children really enjoyed the different races, and were cheered on by family and friends. Well done everyone !!


Class items for Christmas Fair

We are still looking for class donations for the Christmas Fair on Friday. Items are as follows Nursery/reception   Soft Toys Class 1 & 2   Books and Board GAmes Class 3 & 4  Chocolates Class 5 & 6 jars and bottles (eg jam, pickles, bubble bath, wine etc) Many thanks to all who have donated so far.


Advice to parents regarding virus in school

To all parents and carers, In recent weeks we have had a significant outbreak of chicken pox in the younger classes. We now have a virus in school that is showing itself in the form of a rash.
